Summer has arrived, rainy season has begun. Thanks to Tropical Storm Colin, we are saturated, soggy and the air is especially humid. Summer in Florida!
Most of the Tampa Bay area is still under water restrictions. We’ve listed the links to water restriction information per County, and have listed the Counties that Sapino Landscaping works in. You can learn more about watershed management by visiting the SWFMD site. They offer several newsletters that will be of interest to Central-Southwest Florida residents.
Remember, if it rained heavily on your watering day, save on your water bill or water resources, by turning your irrigation system off. (Remember if it doesn’t continue to rain, to turn it back on for your designated watering day.)
Some irrigation systems have an automatic gauge that will measure rainfall and at a certain level, will cut off your irrigation system so that it will not run. Ask us about it. We can direct you to the best irrigation system for your home or business, or give you information about upgrading your system.
